Reading the table

The sign column is where the Moon stands at the instant of opposition; the Sun is in the opposite sign at the same moment, which is why a full moon in Leo arrives while the Sun moves through Aquarius. A full moon lights the house of your own chart that holds that degree; the birth-chart calculator shows which one.

Names follow the North American almanac sequence, Wolf through Cold; the second full moon inside one calendar month is called a blue moon instead. Neither has astrological weight — the sign and degree do.

Questions

How many full moons are there in 2027?

12, from the Wolf Moon on January 22 to the Cold Moon on December 13. No calendar month holds two, so 2027 has no blue moon by the modern definition.

Why is the time given in UTC?

A full moon is one instant for the whole planet — the moment the Moon stands exactly opposite the Sun — so the table lists that instant once, in universal time. Subtract or add your own offset; in the Americas an early-morning UTC time is the previous evening.

How do I add these dates to my calendar?

The calendar file linked at the top holds all 12 instants as one-minute events with the sign and degree in each description. Most calendar apps open it directly, and it carries no personal data because there is none to carry.
