## Use the version-bound record

The engine CHANGELOG is the authoritative per-version history. Read it at the source commit of the version these guides name, and read the entries between your installed version and the new one before upgrading.

Carried archives are immutable. A version names its recorded bytes; do not repack an existing archive or replace it with a package that merely prints the same version.

## Release status

1.0.0 is the first stable release, published to npm under latest on 2026-10-11 with SLSA provenance. The site carries it from a verified archive whose bytes are npm's 1.0.0 tarball. npm's next tag still names an earlier candidate, 0.1.1-rc.16, so install by version or latest.

The release evidence records its checks, its publication and its provenance. Compatibility and accuracy claims apply only to the referenced build and measured span.
